This site is a training log for members of BJJ Lab Zürich. It is run by the gym, not by a company, and your data is not sold, shared with advertisers, or sent to any outside service.
What is stored
- Your account: the name you chose, your belt rank, your avatar choice, and your password (stored only as a cryptographic hash, never readable).
- Your training: the sessions you log — date, time, mat, class, positions drilled, repetitions and your notes.
- Your connections: who you are friends with, and invitations to drill you sent or received.
- The positions board: positions you add and the ones you mark yourself as working on.
- Login records: to block password guessing, failed and successful logins are recorded with the IP address and browser used.
Who can see it
- Your sessions and notes are private to you. Someone you invite can see that session once they accept, but never your notes, and nobody else can see it at all.
- Visible to every member: your name, belt and avatar, and the positions board including who works on what.
- Visible to the gym admin: everything above, through the site's admin pages. The admin can also set a new password for you, but cannot read your existing one.
- Visible to anyone without an account: the class timetable and the positions board.
Cookies
Only what the site needs to work: one cookie to keep you logged in and one to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. No tracking or analytics cookies.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time under your account. That permanently removes your profile, sessions, notes, friendships and invitations. Positions you added to the shared board remain, with your name removed. Database backups are kept for a short period, so deleted data can persist in them until they rotate out.
Your rights
Under Swiss data protection law you can ask what is stored about you, have it corrected, and have it deleted. Contact the gym admin at BJJ Lab Zürich.
This page describes how the software actually behaves. The gym should review it and add its own contact details before members sign up.
